A live poll maker that stays out of the way
A lot of poll tools ask you to build a presentation first. This one starts with a session and a list of questions. That is all. You write your questions, share a link, and move through them while the audience answers.
Because everything is in one session, you can mix formats. Start with a word cloud to see what people already think, follow with a multiple choice poll to narrow it down, then end with a rating or a short quiz.
Choosing the right question type
Use multiple choice when you already know the likely answers. Use a rating for satisfaction or confidence. Use ranking when order matters, for example prioritising next quarter's projects. Use open text when you want sentences, and a word cloud when you want a quick feel for the room in single words.
Quiz questions add a correct answer and a point value, which suits review sessions and training. Keep questions short enough to read on a phone, since most of your audience will answer from one.
